The stable Tor Browser Bundles have all been updated to the latest Firefox 10.0.6esr release.

The alpha Tor Browser Bundles have also (finally) been updated with numerous new pieces of software, including the latest Tor release candidate (0.2.3.19-rc).

All users are strongly urged to upgrade.

This Alpha release

This Alpha release Appcrashes on me quite alot on Win 7 (x64), The old alpha seemed ok, I overwrote the old bundle tho to save me settings, maybe I should of extracted new.

We're planning to use

We're planning to use Firefox esr releases in stable TBBs.

But we need to test newer Firefox in alpha TBBs, so transitioning to the next esr isn't such hell.

For example, with this TBB alpha we found a nice bug in our patches for FF14 that would have much our switch to the next esr more broken:

None of the Linux versions

None of the Linux versions work anymore except tor-browser-gnu-linux-x86_64-2.3.12-alpha-2-dev-en-US.tar.gz. on KDE 4.8.x

Starting vidalia without the

Starting vidalia without the LD_LIBRARY_PATH set in the start script works.
Seems that the libs in the Lib directory are outdated with repect to KDE 4.8.x

commenting out those lines worked for Tor Browser Bundle (2.2.37-2), but not for Tor Browser Bundle (2.3.19-alpha-1) with this error:

Vidalia can't find out how to talk to Tor because it can't access this file: [/..]/tor-browser_en-US/Data/Tor/port.conf

HTTPS Everywhere, stable release for Firefox, is at version 2.1, but with this new TBB release (2.2.37-2), we're stuck at 2.0.5? Huh??? We also receive Noscript version 2.4.8 while (2.3.19-alpha-1) receives 2.4.9? Really??? Why? Thanks for finally giving us [a] new release[s].

After 20-30 min of running the new TBB the addons HTTPS Everywhere and NoScript update Automatically to the actuality version 2.1 and 2.5. I Think that is normal but i am not sure. Please ask the development.

I have download the latest TorBrowser-2.2.37-2-osx-x86_64-en-US for mac osx and perviously
TorBrowser-2.2.37-1-osx-i386-en-US but both have the same issue (connecting to relay directory ) and stay on this state I have sent two inquiries concerning TorBrowser-2.2.37-1 but unfortunately I have no answer I have replaced it with TorBrowser-2.2.35-12-osx-x86_64-en-US old version and it worked perfectly my question is if I have used this old version am I in secure with this version .

There is an easy tweak to make all new windows maximized. I'm just not certain that it won't affect anonymity or security in any way, so I hope someone from the Tor team will respond here.

1.) Type about:config into the URL bar.

2.) Do the "I'll be careful, I promise" thing

3.) type "resize" into the filter bar

4.) Select
extensions.torbbutton.resize_new_windows
Then double-click on it to change the value to "false"

5.) That's it! You can now close or navigate away from that page and go about your merry way browsing.

Again, I cannot guarantee that making this change will not have any adverse on anonymity or security.

Ad-Aware (not the complete suit with antivirus, but uptodate detection) claims browser.exe is/has a trojan. On virustotal 2 other software claim detection, but different from adaware (one Trojan, one Keylogger). Any Info on that?

If you downloaded it from torproject.org and verified the signature, then it's likely a false positive hit by the adaware/virustotal detections. Do you have further info about what virus was found?

Ad-Aware Free Internet Security (signatures from Aug 08.2012) identifies it as Win32.Trojan.Agent.

VirusTotal itself doesnt find anything, but in the report, it mentions two other "means of detection" found something in it. Here is the Report of my latest scan of the file.

I think its probably a false positive, but still, it concerns some people.

Tor Browser Bundle

Tor Browser Bundle (2.2.37-2) works on my Windows 7 PC. In the recent weeks I can (and am eager to) use Tor successfully (after a long time break due to no usable relay bridge URLs). I'm sharing network connection with others and the routers and switches are all out of my touch. A lot of people go internet surf under the same network situation like me. The IPs of our PCs are dynamic, or even those of the routers in the mentioned situation are dynamic too.

When connected to the Tor network, maybe Tor can use the client PCs with Tor Browser Bundle installed like my as relay bridges and carry out Tor request. This will add a lot more anonymous relay bridges to the network and make Tor easier to connect to and use. Manual relay configuration may be not that efficient. Just my silly thought. (anonymous Tor user from china:=)

There is an issue with your script. It seems that these files are modified in the .app bundle *after* codesigning was performed.
